I just had a call from a cop called pieter Saps Oosthuizen. Saying that a case had been opened against me for making use of a prostitute. He even mentioned me by name.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm pretty sure that it's a scam, but how can one be sure?

Post the ladies link so as to make everyone aware who she is... Ask him to meet you at the police station.... Seen a lot of posts about punters getting scammed like this.... Similar thing happened to me... They just want you to pay up... Don't do it

I have had a similar issue , got me a bit startled. But it was a scam. I called the police station where the scammer said he was from , asked if he works there. Gave them my details they checked if any cases were opened. And they confirmed that no case was opened .

That's just the thing, the case was apparently opened in ballito or Durban and I am not from anywhere near there.

Some of these scams are being perpetrated by Police Officers. 1 working girl told me that she was contacted by a police officer who asked her if she would like to work a scam with him where she would receive half if the proceeds.

Rv has sent out messages to all Wg's that advertises with the site regarding this matter.
Whats happening is that guys posing as cops or even if they are real cops are calling up ladies and giving them some bullshit story about a charge being opened and that they are investigating all numbers that has been called on a certain day by the person who opened up the charge. Then they ask the lady to co operate and give them all numbers of the Wg dialed list and received list. Automatically any person should know this is a scam. It's either they want to sim swap ur number or call and threaten clients and extort them for money.I actually received many calls like this and once you ask for details from the so called I/O like What is your name? Detective..... Which station you from? Dbn North.. What is the room number at the station and direct line to contact you on and can you meet in person? You will get no answer beside the 'I/O' saying, I can see you don't want to co operate so we going to find you and arrest you...
So that's basically what's happening to Wg's currently... I don't know about Wg's working with these scammers however.

I got a similar call today.. It's a scam, the so called cop told me there is a "Warrent of Arrest," and asked I him if he knows who issues a Warrent and he got agitated... I told him to Fuck Off and go to Hell.

Scam, I had the same years ago, make sure you phone number isn't connected to FB, you will be amazed what pops up if you google your own number, I blocked my FB for some time as they threatened me to text my wife. All via whatsapp, so I changed my whatsapp settings that only my friends can see if I read the text.
Never ay cos they will come back !

happened to me today, fucked my whole weekend up, i will have to constantly be checking my phone now. claims a rape charge has been opened against me, i didnt even see a wg on the day he stated just made a few calls. i told him that and hung up and blocked his number. hate these scammers they can just mess up ones mood. be careful who you guys contact, some of the WGs here are in it, better stick to the girls that have reviews and not take a chance with anybody new

No recollection whats so ever. If i did remember i would have dealt with them properly. Bastards says it was in the gateway area but i was not even in natal that week. Probably was making a booking for when i got back but didnt go through with anything

In general the Durban cops are the most corrupt from what I heard over the years. I know of a few who try their game on the wgs every now and then. In general, most of these women don't know their rights and give in to these minimum wage clowns. They can be very abusive. I honestly think some of these cops spend more time looking / wanking at escort profiles than anyone on here. The streets have hobos at every intersection who want money for nothing despite the large tax we pay. And violent crimes / theft / robbery keeps going up. But there's always time to browse the sites and see which girl they want to target next. Good job lads!
