Not sure if these guys deserve the title of Mafia but they been around for a good number of years now.
There's a run down joint we have all heard tales about over the years in Morningside. Most of us who are not druggies and prefer classy girls tend to avoid it like the plague.
However, over the years I've heard from wgs that the Head Honcho at this place does not take too kindly to new / attractive girls operating within close vicinity (Morningside, Musgrave, North Beach etc). This obviously threatens his business in some way and he instead sends out some of his cronies (high on crack or meth usually) to intimidate girls who visit from out of town. Either work for him or leave town. Perhaps these cronies should lay off the drugs as they do tend to reveal pretty much everything about their operations....not exactly discreet types.
Durban has had a problem with retaining talent for some time now and this may be one of the primary causes. Perhaps if certain guys finally got a handle on their drug addictions they won't need his services anymore. It's pretty much just a drug den anyhow.
Also suspiciously, other venues get routinely raided whilst this one is still standing after all these years.

Yup, I already know a few good girls that left due to incidents like this.
Usually they'd stick around for the holidays but they're not used to dealing with psychos that pull out guns and knives whilst high on meth.
Guess that cockeyed pimp who sends those guys is feeling pretty good and playing with his man boobs.

These guys seem to be operating their intimidatory tactics in the wider Durban area as well. A girl I visit regularly is complaining that she is getting abusive phone calls, people telling her she needs to update her profile pics and she must pay them and also asking for her bank details so that they can pay her without ever having met her. She is from outside of KZN and highly suspicious.

It seems the same crew have expanded into Umhlanga.
Going to be weary of any bookings in an Umhlanga house from now on.
PM me if any of you has the address for the new place so I can avoid it. No desire to associate with underworld thugs.
The bribery budget must be pretty high I would imagine.
