So I've been a lurker on this forum for some time
and it's mainly because I didn't know how to register or log in. I assumed that this forum was pretty much only for VIP members to post. This is not the case.
The process I followed i just stumbled upon and was very convoluted.
To register:
Under the main topic (e.g. General Discussion) while in the desktop version.

Below all the posts on the bottom right is say "Log in or Register".
The "Log in" is NOT clickable but the register is and it takes you to the register page.
To Log In:
I can only see a log in option on the mobile version of the forum. Once I'm on the desktop version, I don't know how to switch back other than clicking on mobile version link that I now saved in my notes.

Once I'm logged in, things are fine.
Admin/ Anyone,
Please tell me I'm just being an idiot and explain the easiest way to register and log in.
On the desktop version of the forum, I cannot find the log in box. The register link is very difficult to find.
On the mobile version, The log in box is at the top. It defaults to the desktop version after I click on a post, so I don't know how easy it is to find the register page.
I'm using an android phone. The forum defaults to the desktop version most of the time. Maybe that's the problem and the experience is different on Apple, tablet or laptop.
I'm sure there's other guys like me who'd be happy to contribute but couldn't easily register/log in so said screw it

Hey JC420, I play around with my chrome, Google's or phones options quite a lot of which is fucks me up at times. However you might be experiencing that issue cz your site settings might be switched on to desktop search. Trust that will complicate your whole life in general. 3 dots on left of browser, settings, site settings, desktop mode(off) that will change your default browser settings to mobile that way view everything on browser the mobile version. HOWEVER! Watch out if your browser is linked with your Google account and you may have important things there that requires desktop version.. the safest way to access sites privately without effecting any default settings is by using ignito icon, browse without cookies and also without "my activity" traces on Google accounts because as you enter a site on the default browser, cookies and caches are picked by your carrier or Google itself to track and trace every toggle on browser to "better optimize your search results according to your interest"by checking each and most of your visited sites, which does more harm than good, cz whoever can hack your account or if you forget to sign yourself out on another device, everything you search for can easily be accessed by whoever. Sometimes it tracks visited located also. Watch out guys.

Glad it was of help.
Atleast I know it wasn't just me confused AF about this.
Hopefully admin can make some code changes that makes this easier.
If not, then just a log in and register link on the top of the FAQ page will help loads of people.
@Smooth, thanks for the heads up. Yes, I always browse punts in incognito mode. The desktop site checkbox was unselected, so not sure what's going on.
There's an option at the bottom of the mobile version to switch to desktop version, but there isn't one the other way around.
And that's essential cos i still can't find the log in option when in the desktop version - which it still automatically loads most of the time.
I hope incognito mode is sufficient to keep my ass from getting hacked. As @Smooth suggested, please use it if you're not already.

I too could only read this forum and battled for months to get a username registered.
Emailed the admin , whos email address wasnt easy to find and didnt get a reply, tried every method i could with no luck until i also came across your method.
I meant to write a post like yours too, to help the fellow punter - but not being too technically literate, wasnt too sure how to explain myself so i never got around to it.
Hope this sees more members come on board to the forum

I feel this thread signed the end of this forum
when WGs and Scammers realized that wasn't necessary to pay for the VIP fees we started seeing an exponential grow of new and problematic users

You may be right. But I think the guys who are here to contribute can sus out fairly quickly which characters, profiles and posts are dodge.
