Milnerton is not that great of an area tbh especially near Koeberg Rd around Brooklyn and Rugby...
I have had some good punts there in the past but the accommodations aren't always the best.

Short answer - no. It's borderline a shithole. Areas I wouldn't be seen dead in:
Bellville - some areas are OK, but anything near Voortrekker is a no go.
Brackenfell and Kraaifontein
Parow and surrounds
Goodwood and surrounds
Milnerton and surrounds
Parklands
Wynberg and Plumstead
The risk goes up exponentially if you go to these areas. It's not worth it, and there are many areas that are safer with enougb talent.

Lots of the guest houses are full of big foreigner guys around Goodwood went once to one had many eyeing me as i walked to the room

Cyrus is right on the money. Of course it's not all black and white (no pun intended hehe) but those are higher risk areas.

I'be had some good punts in Milnerton. I first confirm address and google search. If it looks dodgy I stay away. I agree with Cyrus on the other areas. Goodwood especially.

Yes highly advise staying away from Goodwood. Lots of gangsters and unsavoury types there. The girls are often on drugs too.
